Eaton Rapids, MI (October 5, 2015) – The 2015 Kenda AMA National Enduro Series Presented by Moose Racing comes to a conclusion this weekend with the series finale at the Muddobbers National Enduro presented by Yamaha Power Equipment in Matthews, Indiana. And while FMF/KTM’s Kailub Russell wrapped up the series title at the previous round in Lynnville, Indiana, there’s still plenty of battles to be decided, including an exciting race for the runner-up slot in the championship. Russell Bobbitt, Steward Baylor and Grant Baylor are all three in contention for second place in the series, and this weekend’s race will decide the final outcome.
Ryan Sipes will be another rider looking to come away with a “W”, having won the previous round in Lynnville, Indiana. In addition, the AirGroup Racing Husqvarna rider is still riding a wave of confidence from his individual victory at last month’s ISDE in Slovakia.
Kenda’s recommended tire for the NEPG Muddobbers enduro in Mathews IN is the Millville II. The alternate would be a pair of Washougal II. The Kenda rider support boxes will be available at the Kenda truck. The boxes contain a supply of Kenda Tuff-Tubes, bike stand, tools, tire spoons and air compressor. The tubes are on the honor system, just stop by after the race and pay for what you use. The support boxes are for all riders regardless of the brand tires you run. Tim Anderson the trackside vendor for Kenda tires, will have a large selection of Kenda tires, Super Tuff Tubes and Tuff Tubes including the Equilibrium, Washougal II, Triple, Southwick II and Millville II tires. If you have never tried Kenda tires, then this is opportunity to try them at National Enduro only prices. You can reserve your tires at email@example.com or call Tim at (248) 431-7506 before 10 PM EST. Tire mounting is available on Saturday, bibs are no problem. Stop by the Kenda tent and say hello.
The East coast team had only two of their three racers present at Round 9 of the National Enduro series held in Lynnville, Indiana as Jesse Groemm sat out the event due to an illness. Cory Buttrick and Justin Sode finished 8th and 18th overall. Buttrick had a strong showing in the third special test finishing in second.
Buttrick explains, "Conditions were very dry an dusty making it an extremely tricky course. It was hard to ride confident on those narrow ridges in the dust, not to mention a handful of downed logs an rocks. Even with it being slick & powdery my Kendas made excellent traction while my 430 RR was laying down the power. I am really looking forward to the final round in Mathews, Indiana as its one of my favorite tracks."
Buttrick sits sixth in the series points looking for a podium finish at the final Round October 11th.
Entries are full for the final round of the 2015 KENDA AMA National Enduro Series in Matthews Indiana on Oct 11th.
A waiting list will be available when registration opens at the event for those of you wishing to ride but did not get an entry in.
