The final round of the National Enduro series was held in Matthews, Indiana. Cool 65 degree temps greeted us Sunday with nice sunny skies. The course had six sections ranging from 7-12 miles. The course was fairly dry with lots of creek crossings and fast field sections.
Beta factory racer Cory Buttrick finished on the podium aboard his Zack Huberty prepped Beta 430 RR. The Ohio racer won a special test and finished inside the top three in four other tests to claim his first podium since April of 2012.
Buttrick describes his race, "Besides being a tad bit dry, weather and conditions were perfect for the final National Enduro of the season
Sunday at the Muddobbers NEPG I had a crash that I still cant remember. Thankfully pro rider Adam Bonneur completely stopped his race in Test 4. He helped me up, got me going, and made sure that I made it out of the woods and back to the pits safe.
Thanks a ton to Adam for doing the right thing and helping me out when I couldn't help myself! Very Appreciated.
Bobbitt Earns 7th at Muddobbers Enduro
Matthews, IN – Factory FMF KTM rider Russell Bobbitt earned 7th overall at the season finale of the Kenda/AMA National Enduro Series after fighting through injury through the entire race.
