Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall sustains an injury to his hand.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall will miss the final rounds of the GNCC and AMA National Enduro series due to an injury he sustained at the Powerline Park GNCC in St. Clairsville, Ohio. After numerous doctor visits, a hand specialist finally confirmed that he sustained a fracture to the ulna and some small tears in his ligaments. Currently there is no timetable on his return to racing.
With four overall GNCC wins under his belt this season, and sitting second in the GNCC championship standings, Duvall is devastated to not be able to finish out the season.
Thud Duvall: “Being injured and missing the last round of each series is a real bummer. I was hoping to make it three in a row this weekend at the Ironman round, which is one of my favorite tracks. I was looking forward to also riding the new 2019 FX 450 this weekend. I am hoping for a quick recovery, so I can get the off season started on the right foot and focus on returning better and stronger in 2019.”
We wish Thad a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the bike soon.
