The Red Fox National Enduro took place this past weekend in Lynnville, Indiana. Downpours of rain Saturday and into race-day Sunday, caused for an extremely muddy and challenging course. All six tests consisted of soft, bottomless soil that made passing lapped traffic difficult.
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Thad Duvall had a row 42 start causing him to be further back than the rest of his competition. The first test was a real struggle due to the mud. Duvall would finish in fifth, but began to gain momentum through the woods into the next three tests, where he would finish in the top three. Test five proved to be a disadvantage as lapped traffic and unmanageable terrain caused Duvall to finish fifth. As the final test of the day commenced, he pushed his FX 350 to its full potential and finished in first, third overall for the day.
“I really struggled with the terrain today. It was tough starting so far behind but I made it work and was still able to snag a podium finish. Looking forward to racing close to every weekend for the next couple months.” said Thad Duvall.
Husqvarna Motorcycles supported, Rockstar Energy athlete, Tayla Jones braved the extreme mud and finished first in the Women’s Elite class.
