Small description as to why you chose to race the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series: I like the opportunity to travel to different parts of the country and ride the best singletrack the area has to offer. I’ve always preferred the enduros, to be able to ride with friends and family on the same row. Even though sometimes I miss the timekeepers, NEPG has done a great job of expanding the sport by putting on great events, and the competition level is always high in every class.
Your favorite race so far: Cherokee National. Awesome course and a cooler than usual morning made for a great day.
Favorite moment on the National Enduro Series: Hard to narrow down to one, but finishing 3rd in the mud at the Red Fox was nice, thanks to a good row! The scenery at the Dragon’s Back was very cool.
Goals for the Season: Just going to the races with friends and my older brother is a thrill for me. But since my first national enduro in 1992, I’ve gotten a few seconds and thirds, but I’m still looking for my first national win, that would be a bonus!
