"I was looking forward to this Michigan National Enduro as it is mainly sand with some extreme rock sections. I grew up in sand, riding it everyday, so I tend to excel in it. The terrain was hard to navigate with many lines going every direction unlike most Enduro's where it is single track and tight. With a couple hard crashes on the last two sections in the rocks, I kept pushing and didn't give up, but I certainly lost a lot of them to make up any time in the results. The Beta excelled in the sand really well and my Kenda tires hooked up in the sand really good too. Just one of those races that you wanna re-do and do some things different. I'm looking forward to getting back to GNCC racing next weekend in NY and finishing the last 4 rounds strong!"
Bike: Beta 250 RR Race Edition
"I had a good start to the day, the first two tests went really well, I was battling for a podium position in the AA-Expert class and about 18th overall. In test 3 I had a big mistake, I clipped the side of a slower rider and had a big crash. Not long after I lost my rear brakes. After losing to much time in the middle of the race I finished 6th in AA-Expert. I'm ready to comeback strong at the next round in Indiana and put my Beta 250RR on the podium."
