"The Rattlesnake was an interesting race for me. First off, I have to thank Rodney for his advice on how to properly ride a 200 in the tight trees! Really using the bottom end and carrying momentum worked a lot better than revving it up and pushing it as hard as I could, which was what I was trying to do before. While I never felt especially fast at any point during the day, I was able to put in smooth and consistent tests, which was enough for a second place finish. It felt especially good to get on the box at a NEPG since it was at the Alligator Enduro where I got injured earlier this year. It feels like I'm really starting to come full circle and I'm optimistic that there's good things ahead for the rest of this season!"

"The National Enduro was located at a unique place in the Pennsylvania mountains. I liked the location, but it was tough at times! My Beta 300 RR was awesome through the rocky terrain. I laid down some good test times and mainly just stayed consistent most of the day. For some reason in the super rocky terrain I didn't find myself to be too comfortable. But I still had fun and feel like I made improvements over last year at this event. I ended up 6th overall with some improvements to build on for our next race! Thanks Beta team and Sponsors for all the support this season!"

"This past weekend we made the trip to round 6 of the NEPG series for the Rattlesnake Enduro. The camp ground there had awesome camping with a nice grass track to tear up right off the start. I was able to get off to a good start putting in good times on the first few test and was able to pick it up for the 2nd half of the day. The test sections weren't to long but with the mix of rock beds and tight section it made it challenging. It wasn't until the start of test 6 that I found out I was running 2nd in class and had been battling for that spot all day. The last test of the day I was able to stay focused and ended up winning the section for my class. My goal was to put in the best ride I could not worrying about results. I finished the day in 2nd NEPro2 and 9th overall. My Beta was spot on all day and I didn't have to make any adjustments to it."
