Bobbitt Earns 7th at Muddobbers Enduro

Matthews, IN – Factory FMF KTM rider Russell Bobbitt earned 7th overall at the season finale of the Kenda/AMA National Enduro Series after fighting through injury through the entire race.

The weather conditions were perfect with temperatures in the mid-seventies. Bobbitt, who herniated a disc in his back a few weeks ago pushed through the pain to try and earn a top result that would keep him 2nd overall in the point standings. Despite his best effort, unfortunately, he was unable to maintain that position in the points. His 7th place result placed him back to 3rd overall in the standings.

Bobbitt will now return home to have surgery on his back in order to be completely healthy heading into next season. The series champion, Kailub Russell, did not race the final round as he is out with injury as well and currently recovering from a knee injury.

Privateer KTM rider Steward Baylor was the top finishing KTM pilot with a 4th overall on the day. He had a placed 3rd in the fourth special test and ended the final two with two 4th place results to put him in the top five overall.
