With heavy rain the the night before the race as well as the threat of more rain during the race, the challenges on man and machine would be a great many.

Lined up on row 33, Jake Froman would start the grueling task of making his was through the slick and muddy trails for 70 plus miles.

Jake would come out of test one feeling like he was a little off the pace, yet placing 5th in the AA-Expert class for that test. Jake made a few adjustments and lined

up for test 2. Jake would roll on in test 2 and 3 carding a 4th in both test putting him 4th in class at the half way point.

Test 4 would prove to be Jakes best test on the day as he rode well and finished 2nd in that test. Test 5 Jake continued to press on and at the end of the 5th test

would still be sitting 4th in class but with a 3rd place test time that would inch him closer to the 3rd place rider. The final test was a long and very tight section of

trail which is right up Jakes alley. His efforts would boost him to a podium spot in the Rekluse AA-Expert Class with a 3rd and a 17th overall on the day!

Jake is sitting tied with 3rd in the series with 6 rounds remaining.
