Eaton Rapids, MI (July 21, 2015) – Kailub Russell is on quite a roll heading into this weekend’s Rattlesnake National Enduro presented by Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, round seven of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series in Cross Fork, Pennsylvania. In addition to adding to his points lead, the FMF/KTM rider is hoping to come away with his third win in a row on July 26th at the Pennsylvania event.

Staged from the Quiet Oaks Campground in central Pennsylvania, the Rattlesnake National Enduro presented by Rocky Mountain ATV/MC is known for its famous grass track in the valley as part of the first test, as well as its notorious “rock garden” section, which separates the men from the boys. Hosted by the Brandywine Enduro Riders, the “Rattlesnake” is a classic Pennsylvania enduro. Starting at the campground, the epic grass track kicks off the event and then it’s a short ride to the forest for some technical sections.

Once underway, Russell will have plenty of competition from defending series champ Andrew DeLong on his Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna and four-time enduro champ Russell Bobbitt on an FMF/KTM four-stroke. Bobbitt sits 28 points behind Russell in the series standings and Bobbitt would like nothing more than to cut into that lead this weekend.

Other riders vying for the podium will be 2012 series champ Steward Baylor on a Moto-Tech KTM, Steward’s brother Grant Baylor on an Am Pro Yamaha and MotoSport.com/Am Pro Yamaha’s Brad Bakken, who is capable of a win at any time.

Of course, you can’t rule out up-and-comer Ryder Lafferty (nephew of Mike Lafferty) on the AirGroup Racing Husqvarna, and factory Beta USA teammates Jesse Groemm and Cory Buttrick.

Two notable entries are AirGroup Racing’s Nick Fahringer, who will make his return to racing after missing almost a year with a knee injury, and former Motocross star, Broc Hepler, who will be racing from row 36A.

Canyon Motorsports of Gaines, PA will add $150 in the Rekluse Expert-AA class purse, as well as $500 to the pro purse.

On Saturday, the Pro riders will be available to talk to and sign autographs, plus there will be a fireworks show on Saturday night. And don’t forget the KTM demo ride on Saturday featuring the new 2016 models. Campground has food available on site.

There will also be a bicycle ride poker run on Saturday at 3pm, with the proceeds going to the Western Clinton County Rec Center will be the charity for the bicycle ride. Andrew Delong will be the Grand Marshal for the ride, so bring you bike and your helmet. This is not a race, just a nice easy ride (8-9 miles) on gravel roads, power lines and fields. You will be able to rub elbows with many of the pros Andrew Delong, Craig Delong, Russell Bobbitt, Ryder Lafferty, Nick Fahringer Brad Bakken and many more.

There will be a minimum $5 donation to participate, the NEPG and BER will be matching donations and everything will go to the Western Clinton County Rec Center.

On the ride you will pick up 5 cards (poker run) and at the end those with the best hands will win some great prizes from the series sponsors.

Just bring your bike, helmet and $5 at 3pm on Saturday and have a good time.

In addition to vendors, a kitchen is on site for some “home-cooked” meals, and camping is abundant with RV hookups and cabins available if you book them early. Hotels are just a 30-40 minute drive away in Lockhaven.
