Round 2 of the Rekluse AMA National Enduro Series was held in Sally, SC (Sandlapper Enduro). Team Shenandoah Honda/ rider Thad DuVall has been spending most of this recent time in Florida preparing for the GNCC opener next week at River Ranch. Practicing tight woods and getting in shape paid of this weekend with a well earned third place Overall. With some cold temperature on Saturday, Sunday turned out to be a perfect day for racing. Test one gave DuVall a fifth place, 13 seconds slower then winner Mullins. DuVall: “ I had a hard time getting going in the first test, I couldn’t get into a grove”. The following tests was better with a 2nd and a 4th place, keeping him contention for a podium. Test 4 and 5 were solid with a 3rd and a 5th, making the the last and final test very important to finish on the podium with just 5 second separating him from Bobbitt in 4th. The last test was 13 miles long and DuVall was able to win it and secure third place. DuVall: “I had fun today. The bike (Honda 250) worked really good and I had no issues at all today. I like the longer sections and I felt good racing the last 13 miles. To win one of these, I have to be more aggressive from the start and be consistent”. 
DuVall will now travel back to Florida, where he will get ready for round 1 of the GNCC on Tuesday March 12.
