WHO INFLUENCED COMPETITION:
It was initially just a hobby and we went to the first race in the 2002 enduro series in Texas and ended up racing every Texas enduro.  Since 2002 racing has been a huge part of my life.

HIGHLIGHTS OF RACING CAREER UP TO 2010:
2007 was my first year racing the pro class in the national enduro series. It was a decent year and I learned a lot.  In 2008 I had four podiums and two victories and finished the series third in points.  The 2009 series was tough.  I had numerous races where crashes were an issue which is an odd thing for me as well as some mechanical issues early in the season.

FAVORITE COURSE AND WHY:
I really liked the national enduro in Texas because it was very similar to what I grew up riding on.  However Reno in 2008 was my favorite event.  The terrain was awesome!  I prefer higher speeds, dry dirt, and trees that bend when you hit them!  Not tight woods.

RACING GOALS?
Continue to become a better racer.  Every race I seem to learn something and I want to progress to the point that I am a threat for a win at every event.

I am continuing my studies this year at the university of north texas.  I have lived in Lubbock all of my life but I have spent most of my time since August in Denton.  I really like the town as well as the people.  There are more people to ride and train with throughout the week and I am really looking forward to the change!
