A RICH HISTORY

National Enduro is the oldest off-road motorcycle racing championship in the United States. We’ve got a pedigree that goes back over 70 years, and we think that is worth sharing. This page will continue to grow and evolve as we receive more and more photos, flyers, and documents.

BREAKDOWN BY ERAS

Most off-road riders are familiar with the different eras of Supercross and Motocross, as defined by great riders, large leaps in technology, or notable changes in structure. We all remember (or have heard of) Roger DeCoster’s dominance, Jeremy McGrath reiging as the King of Supercross, only to be eventually dethroned by Ricky Carmichael. How about Doug Henry’s win on the first YZ400F prototype? Or the Epic Carmichael vs. Windham, Two-Stroke vs. Four-Stroke showdown in 2003 that marked the last time a two-stroke won an Outdoor Championship?

Just like these other types of racing, National Enduro has seen it’s fair share of standout riders and notable milestones. We’ll do our best to outline them below:

1955 1956 1957 1956-2
